With our in-house case management services, EPIC11 Recovery Services offers personalized one-on-one assistance with a case manager to help individuals access vital services, including information about outreach programs, community resources, and referrals. Our walk-in guest services provide support with IDs and access to benefits and are available Tuesdays through Fridays from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. For those needing additional case management services, appointments can be made. All programs, including employment assistance and medical assistance, are free and open to the public to support individuals and families in Baltimore facing food insecurity, as well as those who are uninsured or underinsured and experiencing homelessness.
VOLUNTEERS make our work possible! Find your place at EPIC11 Haven, where we provide essential services such as case management, employment assistance, and outreach programs for those facing food insecurity and seeking medical assistance. To ensure an enjoyable and productive experience, we require all volunteers to adhere to a few guidelines.
The guidelines are listed below:
Show dignity and respect to all of our guests.
Be cognizant of cultural differences (and look for similarities).
Do not judge, make assumptions, or generalizations (You never know the stories of our guests).
Ask questions if you are confused, unsure, or curious about any situations you encounter.
Please bring the Volunteer and Waiver form when you arrive (This will be emailed to you with your confirmation).
Bring a smile, as well as a friendly and open attitude!
You may bring your cell phone, but we are a cell-phone free zone! So, if you need it for emergencies, you may keep it and use it discreetly. Otherwise, please lock it in the closet or turn it off in your pocket.
